LESSON FIVE: Reflections, Lasting Impacts
Students will learn how community action impacted activists and how they now reflect on those experiences by reading about anti-racist skinhead Jon Bair’s experience, listening to clips from the It Did Happen Here podcast, and analyzing the reflections of other activists. Topics discussed include anti-racist skinhead tactics, the consequences of the associated violence, reflections on building community power and defense, and how tactics for present-day resistance have evolved.
