LESSON SEVEN: It’s Still Happening Here
Students will learn how to identify examples of White nationalism and strategies to help them counter White nationalism by using Confronting white nationalism in Schools: A Toolkit developed by the Western States Center. Students then pick an example of discrimination or a social issue to research and create a public service announcement poster that provides information about the issue and suggestions on how to combat it.
